What a day! What I thought to be a small problem on my office laptop turned out to be a bigger issue than I had thought. Essentially, I had some corrupted Window System file on my laptop and I wasn't able to boot up my laptop. The helpdesk spent the better part of the day backing up the harddisk and re-installing the software.
While my laptop is now functioning, I have to spent time to install previously installed softwares. Sigh... win some, lose some.
For the better part of today, I wasn't very productive since I was working on someone else's laptop and being away from my desk. But I would rather count my blessings :) Thank goodness for little favours. At least it didn't happen while I was on my No Pay Leave (NPL).
